We are looking for a Verizon Engagement Manager in Pittsburgh, PA

Verizon is recruiting for several positions in the Verizon Engagement Manager Program in Pittsburgh, PA.

We are seeking business savvy, sales driven Engagement Managers capable of working independently to market products and services to Communities, Property Managers and Owners. Success in this position requires a highly motivated, confident, self-starter, with a positive attitude and strong communication and time management skills. This position will promote events; engage consumers and help drive sales of products and services. Engagement Managers will work to achieve regular sales goals.

The Engagement Manager will be responsible for researching and profiling multi family communities. Execution of pre-marketing, on site execution and event wrap up is required while meeting and exceeding sales goals. Additionally, this position requires identifying key contacts, developing and maintaining positive relationships, scheduling events and negotiating additional marketing tactics. Job activities change on a day-to-day basis. The Engagement Manager is a contract position and the program runs from January 2010 through December 2010.

Requirements:
* Researching and prospecting properties
* Scheduling meetings and events
* Pre promote events and Verizon offers
* Set up, tear down and maintenance of event site and materials
* On-site event execution
* Product promotion
* Premium and product inventory management
* Administrative Duties (recapping, filing, finance management)
* Meet sales goals as determined by Verizon

Expectations:
* Achieve weekly goals
* Prospect and generate qualified new business opportunities
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive database
* Communicate and work with management to assist the sales teams with achieving goals
* Build and maintain relationships with Property Managers/Owners, Event contacts, team members and internal staff
* Execute pre-marketing and on-site event execution

Qualifications: Candidates must be 21 years of age or older and possess a strong work ethic, reliable communication skills, flexibility, organization and attention to detail. Current driver's license and clean driving record required. Solid organization, communication and interpersonal skills are imperative. The candidate will be working closely with team members and the general public - field promotion and proven sales experience preferred. Ideal candidates will have a real estate, business sales background, and Telecom/FiOS experience preferred. Candidates must have reliable transportation, and some travel is required. Bilingual, is a plus! First consideration will be given to those with college degrees.
