Machine Operator – (Multiple Career Opportunities) –Verizon has multiple career opportunities for several Machine Operators! The duties include but are not limited to the following: Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without a reasonable accommodation. Position Responsibilities

The Account Manager is responsible for managing large and strategic accounts and driving revenue through the sales of Verizon Partner Solutions (VPS) products and services.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Development and execution of strategic account plans for multiple accounts
Build relationships with key strategic "C" level executives within module
Effectively manage funnel and forecasting requirements across multiple accounts
Meet monthly revenue quotas
Prospect , cross sell and uncover opportunities within a module across the entire VPS product portfolio
Establish, cultivate and grow revenue within Tier I Accounts.
Lead manage opportunities within longer selling cycles while driving short term revenue opportunities weekly
Meet required training and development initiatives
Cross sell entire range of VPS product offerings (WAN, Voice,/Data, Prof Services, Security, CPE & Managed Network Services)
Required Skills & Experience

Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience.
Strong organizational skills required and proven track record of managing multiple accounts in a dispersed geography/territory
Proven track record of selling/driving revenue on a weekly and monthly basis into multiple accounts
Prior experience in networking and integration (i.e., Hardware, Software) Sales.
Direct marketing or sales experience in related Enterprise verticals.
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong analytical skills. Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience (First consideration will be given to those candidates with a degree)
Desired Skills & Experience

5- 10 years of related Marketing or Sales experience.

Verizon Employee Experience

My name is Dan Sapir. I began working at Verizon three years ago in our retail marketing organization.

A year ago I transferred over to Verizon's Global Wholesale organization in a sales role with the goal of expanding my understanding of the industry. It wasn't until I began actively selling that I realized how limited my exposure was in the retail world. Through my retail call center experience and my time in advertising, I gained a generally understanding of our FiOS product line as well as our Copper products.

When I transferred to Wholesale I realized that was just the tip of the iceberg. The Wholesale arena is truly a great place to learn the business. On the Global Wholesale website (http://verizon.com/wholesale/), Verizon Global Wholesale is described as, "a technologically advanced organization --serving Long Distance, Local, Internet and Wireless Providers with reliability and choice on an award winning network." We exist to help other companies fill gaps in their product offerings so that the companies we partner with can fulfill the needs of their end users in a more efficient and complete manner.

One of the more exciting partnerships I am working on is our partnership with CDNs (Content Delivery Networks) through our recently launched Partner Port Program. The Verizon Partner Port Program is a great solution for Content Delivery Network service providers to aid content owners in delivery of their content to the Internet. The program encourages a direct connection between CDN's content servers and the Verizon IP network at key Internet Exchange Points avoiding the need for traffic to travel through various carriers' backbone networks. The result is a more efficient transfer from content owner to the end user. This partnership is a true win for Verizon's end users and content owners alike at a time when consumers have an increased demand for quality paired with an increased interest in high bandwidth media.

With such a diverse product offering, the Global Wholesale organization allows its members to work directly with companies to solve the needs of their end users. The knowledge I have gained in this organization has served as a crucial building block in my development as a telecom professional.

Position Responsibilities:

Consultative inside sales position managing a module of approximately 350 customers with an average annual telecom spend per customer of around $8,900. Focus is primarily on retaining and up-selling the existing customer base. Responsible for creating and owning ongoing relationship and managing the activity of the account team including the Sales Engineer, Implementation Specialist, Billing specialists and Vendor Partners to deliver the complete line of Verizon voice, data, video, IP & CPE products. Resolves customer issues to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsible for territory account planning and forecasting as well as creating accurate pricing and proposals. The primary sales activity for this role will be farming.

• Designs, proposes and sells integrated voice, data, LD, CPE and internet solutions and value added application packages to existing base of medium business market customers via telephone based selling.

• Independently manage approximately 350 accounts to retain customer base and increase revenue. Partners with customer to understand their business to determine present and future needs in a consultative selling approach.

• Meet/exceed revenue objective (and Standards of Performance as reviewed with manager on a monthly/quarterly basis) consisting of moderate-lower complexity services (voice/data CPE, legacy voice services, integrated voice and data, data networking, and internet access).

• Exceeds customer expectations in the area of quality account management and customer service.

• Interfaces with and is proficient using Account Planning and Order Entry systems (OneSource)

Responsible for all continued improvement/ongoing education as it relates to technical, applications, sales and systems training including completing competency tests.


Required Skills:
